silakan berdiskusi tentang ENGLISH disini...

nah ada satu kalimat, yang dari dulu aku pengen tau inggrs na apa...
tolongin donk...

"selama orang gila menganggab dirinya ialah waras, dan mengganggab orang waras ialah gila.
aku tak perlu takut untuk dikatakan sebagai orang gila"

nah buat teman kita hikari yang kul pake inggris, artiin donk

nih khusus bt g y?! g jg masi blum pro ni dlm bhs inggris, grammar g ancur, ngomong jg..
g coba jawab y, ga tau bnar apa ga, x aja yg dsini ada yg lebi pro (admin mungkin?) tolong dkoreksi klo kalimat g salah

As long as crazy people deem that he/she is normal and deem that the normal people is crazy, so I do not need affraid to be called as a crazy people.

sbenarny g rada bingung jg mo pake "think", "assume" ato "deem" tp akhirny g milih pake deem aja de rasany lebi cocok buat konteks kalimat u d'atas

Since this is an english room, why don't we converse in English?
Those who wish to be better in English could join in. I'm still learning, too.
We could correct and help each other, I suppose.

ye... we have great english teacher at this forum...

We can talk about anything.. About life, what's going on around you, what's happening today and so on..
I believe that the best way to get better in conversing in english is by having as many conversations as you can with someone who speak english.
To get better in writing in english, it takes so much more.. lol. Grammars, spelling, and professional writing style.. those ain't easy stuffs to learn. I don't write in good english..

First months of my study in Malaysia, it'd been pretty tough. I don't speak mandarin at all, and my english was pretty poor. I can speak good Indonesian, which is "said" to be "similar" to Malay. However, it turned out malaysians having difficulty understanding me trying to speak malay, and vice versa. Moreover, classes are held in english. I've got to learn english, otherwise I'll fail. So, I made friends with my classmate, a chinese girl from Netherlands. We've got no language in common but english. I was kinda forced to converse in english with her, else we won't understand each other. It worked out pretty good. Three years gone, and I think I did get a lot better.

Still a sucker in grammar and writing, though; but for me, being able to express my thoughts, idea and feelings and having other people understand them is good enough.

Still watchinx...Coz it's the only thing that i can do...

actually i have been finish my D1 at ABA (gajahmada) but i think it not make my english better.

i really like other language beside indo or mother language, i can describe my feeling easyly with other language that i can't describe wint indo language...

but i fear if i speak wrong word, can make me embarrase ...
althogh i know it not good for increase my english...

I'm at no position of correcting other people's writing, as I'm pretty bad in writing myself. (Gw gak semestinya mengoreksi tulisan orang, karena gw sendiri juga ga pinter dalam soal menulis)

You shouldn't worry, people make mistakes, and practice makes better.
Perhaps, your english didn't get any better because you never had a chance to really use it..
(Mungkin kemampuan berbahasa inggrismu gak menjadi lebih baik karena kamu gak benar-benar punya kesempatan untuk berbahasa inggris)

Certainly, you can join. The more the merrier. (Tentu aja lo bole ikut, makin rame makin asyik.)
And I like your idea about stating what we meant in the end of a sentence. (Trus, gw suka ide lo soal nambahin apa maksud kita di akhir kalimat)
There won't be misunderstanding, and we can learn from what everyone else is writing (Gak akan ada salah paham, dan kita bisa belajar dari segala sesuatu yang ditulis orang lain)
